Books
Weed, Susun. Menopausal Years, the Wise Woman Way.
This is a classic, somewhat left-of-center herbal compendium for the menopausal woman. Susun gives good, practical advice about how to eat as well as herbal remedies to try. Most of her advice starts with the least intrusive options and moves to the most invasive; she doesn't entirely discount conventional medicine, though she clearly thinks it inferior for this time in a woman's life.
McQuade Crawford, Amanda. The Herbal Menopause Book.
Amanda is a British-trained herbalist living and practicing in the States. She gives good practical advice on what herbs to use for different symptoms, and is a bit more "conventional" than a lot of herbalists.
McQuade Crawford, Amanda. Herbal Remedies for Women.
I actually prefer this book of Amanda's. It's imminently readable and helpful for younger women, who tend to get less attention from herbalists than menopausal women. Good basic recipes for herbal cures for a number of issues, especially PMS.
